Tall and slim silhouettes with vivid colours and lush prints characteristic of the 1930s wowed an packed audience at the Spring Summer 2009 Collection of Gauri and Nanika that was showcased at the capital's sprawling Pragati Maidan venue.
"Our collection draws an inspiration from the Alix Gres and Madeleine Vionnet to Isadora Duncan and Jean Harlow, the lines incorporates a sense of ease with light-hearted silhouettes and effortless drapes reminiscent of the 30s," Gauri said post her show.
