Delhi Designer on Spree to Popularize Khadi on Ramps

Khadi is coming into the forefront of fashion never before. All the designers are trying their best to focus on Khadi as fashion fabric. They are trying to grab the attention of the wearers. In this fashion consciousness time, Sunaina Suneja, a Delhi based designer and an enthusiastic Gandhi admirer has taken a step further and is trying to get the glory for hand-spun and hand-woven cloth. She wishes that at least on a single day in a year one must wear Khadi.

As same like as October 2 as World Non-Violence Day, Sunaina wants September 11 to be observed as National Khadi Day, the very day when Mahatma Gandhi started Satyagraha movement. Sunaina designs garments using Khadi as she thinks Khadi to more suitable for Indian weather.

Her designs are a wide range of clothes weaved and patterned from different shades of Khadi. Her innovative designs and experimentation with cuts and patterns have made her clothing very popular among fashion fraternity.
